GIS Migration Expert

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead complex GIS data migration projects, focusing on Utility Network implementations and leveraging expertise in FME and Utility Network modeling.

This role involves designing, building, and optimizing FME workspaces and workflows for geospatial data migration, transformation, and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Utility Network modeling and migration, as well as proven background in GIS data migration and transformation projects within the utilities domain.

About the Role:

  • Migrate utility datasets (electric, water, gas, telecom) from legacy network models to modern ArcGIS Utility Network or other utility GIS platforms.
  • Analyze and validate schema mapping and topology to ensure accurate data migration.
  • Design and implement data migration strategies to maintain data integrity, quality, and performance across migration workflows.
  • Work closely with clients to deliver high-quality results and meet their specific needs.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in GIS, with at least 3+ years of hands-on expertise in FME.
  • Strong experience in Utility Network modeling and migration (ArcGIS Utility Network or equivalent).
  • Proven background in GIS data migration and transformation projects within the utilities domain.
