Data Migration Expert

Seeking a highly skilled data migration professional with expertise in SAP data management and hands-on implementation experience using Syniti toolset.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, executing, and managing data migration activities for SAP projects, ensuring seamless transition and accuracy of business-critical data.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and execute end-to-end SAP data migration projects using Syniti toolset.
  2. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze data migration requirements and create migration strategy.
  3. Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading (ETL) activities.
  4. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.
  5. Develop and manage mapping rules, validation scripts, and error resolution processes.
  6. Provide cutover and post-migration support, ensuring smooth transition to SAP systems.
  7. Prepare documentation, reports, and dashboards on migration progress and quality metrics.
  8. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of proven experience in SAP Data Migration projects.
  • Strong expertise with Syniti tool (formerly BOA / DSP / ADM) for SAP data migration.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of ETL processes, SQL, data cleansing, and transformation techniques.
  • Experience in migration of master data, transactional data, and configuration data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex migration issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with global teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with S/4HANA migrations and SAP MDG.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance practices.
  • Exposure to Agile methodology and tools like Jira.
