Job Description

This role is ideal for an experienced medical writer who can develop high-quality, client-ready scientific materials under the guidance of our scientific leads. The Senior Medical Writer will be responsible for using their scientific expertise to write, proofread, and data-check a variety of documents, including slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and infographics.

  • Develop high-quality, client-ready scientific materials such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, MSL/training slide decks, infographics, congress and meetings materials, literature searches and reviews, standard response letters/medical information letters, and HCP engagement content.
  • Liaise and build trusting and professional relationships with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, authors/faculty, clients, and vendors.
  • Attend workshops/seminars/trainings to hone skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Support senior team members at client and other external meetings as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • A PhD/MD (Pharmacology) OR PhD (Life Sciences) OR PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Clear, concise, scientific style of writing, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office.
