Software Assurance Professional

As a meticulous software assurance professional, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional software products. Your responsibilities will encompass a combination of testing, automation, and continuous enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing and Validation: Perform automated testing to guarantee software quality. Conduct performance, load, and stress tests to ensure the highest standards are met.
- Test Planning and Strategy: Create comprehensive test plans and cases based on user stories and specifications. This involves collaborating with development teams to understand requirements and provide valuable feedback.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product owners, and designers to understand project needs and provide insightful input. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive team success.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure test environments are set up correctly for seamless execution. This includes setting up and maintaining necessary infrastructure for smooth testing.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects thoroughly. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and implement corrective measures.
- Quality Metrics and Reporting: Monitor key quality metrics and provide regular updates on test results and defect trends. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement process enhancements and promote best practices in software quality assurance. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continually improve processes and deliverables.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Facilitate UAT by coordinating resources and guidance for end-users. Ensure that stakeholders are well-informed and satisfied with the final product.
- Security and Compliance Testing: Conduct thorough security testing and ensure product compliance with industry standards and regulations. Identify vulnerabilities and implement fixes to maintain the highest level of security.
Experience:
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Playwright.
- Proven track record in creating and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Experience in performance, load, and stress testing to ensure optimal system performance.
- Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintaining test environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 4-7 years of relevant testing experience with a strong focus on quality assurance.
