Cloud Solution Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to lead the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with expertise in designing and deploying scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, and Amazon EKS.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of cloud security best practices and ensure the secure configuration of cloud resources.
  • Implement storage management solutions using AWS-Storage and manage Docker images to ensure efficient deployment of applications.
  • Perform cloud cost analysis and apply best practices to optimize resource utilization.
  • Manage Kubernetes (k8s) system services and worker nodes, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Collaborate with internal technology teams to contribute to internal initiatives and engage with the senior architecture group to provide estimates for requirements.
  • Ensure a good understanding of Kubernetes API and client libraries (Postgres, Redis, Prometheus, etc.) and proficiency in Infrastructure as Code concepts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience with hands-on coding and ability to program independently.
  • AWS Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
  • Strong Linux/UNIX experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Terraform.
  • Experience in AWS Cloud platforms across a wide range of services.
  • Experience implementing AWS Cloud Security.
  • Experience using Postgres databases (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, and Route 53 for traffic management.
  • Experience with Network Access Control List, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail.
  • Ability to design Highly Available and/or Fault-Tolerant Architectures.
  • Experience with open-source technologies and tools.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-scale solutions in Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of optimized coding for memory consumption, performance, scalability, security, caching, etc.
  • Experience with Docker, HELM, and Kubernetes (mandatory).
  • Experience working with scripting languages (YAML).
  • Experience with stateless/stateful applications deployed on Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Working experience with AWS and Kubernetes API.
  • Experience with reporting and analysis tools for cloud platforms.
  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
