SAP Security Specialist

This position involves maintaining secure and high-performing SAP systems, managing roles and authorizations, and ensuring audit and compliance readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Security & Authorization - Manage SAP user access, role creation/modification, and authorization troubleshooting across SAP systems.
- Perform role design based on business processes, ensuring compliance with SoD (Segregation of Duties) requirements.
- Conduct regular risk analysis, mitigation, and compliance checks using SAP GRC or equivalent tools.
- Monitor security logs and manage audit findings; implement corrective and preventive actions.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in User & Role Administration, Authorization Management, SAP GRC (Access Control, Risk Management), SAP HANA (Administration & Modelling), SAP Basis (Installation, Configuration, Upgrades, Transport Management, System Monitoring)
- Security Testing & Auditing
- Solid understanding of SAP functional modules like MM, PP, WM, HR, FI/CO, and their integration with access controls
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security & Basis administration.
- Experience working in large-scale environments and providing production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with cross-functional teams.
