Operations Management Specialist

  • Manages manpower planning and shift rostering to optimize resource allocation and meet productivity targets.
  • Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), facility 5S, and overall upkeep of facilities.
  • Monitors vehicle connections, availability, and ensures timely unloading/loading of vehicles, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Plans ad-hoc vehicle requirements based on load profiles and coordinates with the fleet team.
  • Maintains service levels and ensures performance metrics are met, driving operational excellence.
  • Facilitates communication and coordination among teams, including commercial, security, fleet, and last mile.
  • Drives metrics improvement in inbound operations, outbound operations, floor operations, quality metrics, and first-mile metrics.
  • Develops and maintains HR/Employee-related Key Result Areas (KRAs), including diversity hiring, employee morale, and employee safety.
  • Mentors and works towards capability building of team members, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Identifies and explores process improvement opportunities, implementing industry best practices such as Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma.
  • Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's degree from a Tier 1 college and 1-3 years of relevant experience post-graduation.
