Customer Service Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to play a crucial role in maintaining long-term customer relationships, ensuring service satisfaction, and coordinating with internal teams.

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who can handle client interactions, resolve inquiries, and provide end-to-end support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contact Customers: Act as the first point of contact for customer queries via phone or email.
  2. Maintain Relationships: Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients by ensuring timely updates and resolution of issues.
  3. Coordinate Teams: Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and visibility teams and resolve service-related concerns.
  4. Support Account Management: Provide support for account setup, documentation, and order processing.
  5. Escalate Issues: Manage escalations and ensure proactive communication with customers.
  6. New Client Onboarding: Assist in onboarding new clients and providing guidance on services.
  7. Customer Interaction Record Keeping: Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
  8. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback and share insights with management to enhance customer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Logistics, or related field).
  • 2-3 years of experience in customer service, client relations, or logistics support.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
  • Problem-solving ability with a customer-first mindset.
  • Good knowledge of North American Trucking operations preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
