Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization.

About the Role
  • This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership and technical skills.
  • You will be responsible for managing a team of finance professionals and overseeing the financial close process.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Accounting & Reporting:
  • Manage end-to-end Accounting and Process viz. P2P, R2R, O2C for our Business Units (BU).
  • Ensure completion of accurate and timely monthly financial close.
  • Enforce company accounting policies, practices, and internal controls, and ensure consistency in accounting.
  • Deliver accurate books of accounts - P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
  • Ensure financial accounts are properly supported and reconciled.
  • Lead financial close review with Finance Leadership including month-end review, finalization of P&L accounts, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Run cadence with internal teams to identify aging and take suitable actions.
  • Manage Interim Audits, Due Diligence, Statutory Audit, GST Audits, etc.
  • Prepare the organization for statutory & tax audits, financial due diligence.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Support specific BU with end-to-end Finance operational Support.
  • Develop and manage financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for the specific BU.
  • Provide the business with timely, accurate and insightful analysis of the results.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a single source of truth for numbers – Key financial metrics and performance drivers.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations, to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including investors, partners, and vendors.
Other Activities/Initiatives:
  • Knowledge of Nodal Account, Payment Gateway Reconciliations, E-Commerce transactions etc (preferable).
Skills and Qualifications
  • Start-up experience and scaling up a start-up through the Series-A, Series-B funding efforts preferred.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, accounting and reporting software.
  • Candidate who are very well versed in dealing with Auditors, Consultants are preferred.
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel (Pivots, Lookup, Conditional Functions, Power BI, etc.).
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • High-energy with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • CA / CMA/ CA Inter
  • 1-3+ Years (PQE)
