Job Overview

A senior engineer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of AV field technicians and ensuring seamless execution of technical assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the activities of AV field technicians and manage project timelines efficiently.
  • Guarantee timely setup, configuration, and thorough testing of AV systems to meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate closely with clients to understand their on-site requirements and incorporate feedback effectively.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with stringent safety standards.
  • Provide hands-on support for complex technical issues and develop tailored solutions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing AV operations is essential.
  • Strong team leadership skills are necessary for successful project management.
  • Technical expertise in AV equipment and software is vital for effective system implementation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are crucial for building strong client relationships.
Certifications
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification is highly desirable.
  • AVIXA Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Crestron/Extron/AMX Programming Certifications can be beneficial but are not essential.
