Procurement Specialist

About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled procurement specialist to join our supply chain team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every aspect of our civil projects runs smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil construction materials and consumables, as well as understanding of local procurement practices and vendor management.

Responsibilities:

  • Procure site-level civil items locally within approved limits.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely material availability.
  • Maintain vendor database for civil items and consumables.
  • Ensure procurement follows company policies and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report material inflow/outflow, consumption, and stock levels.
  • Support material reconciliation during and after project execution.
  • Coordinate logistics for safe transportation of materials.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices, vendor records).

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and consumables.
  • Understanding of local procurement practices and vendor management.
  • Good coordination and negotiation skills for vendor interaction.
  • B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering or Graduate with relevant SCM/procurement experience.
  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain of construction/renewable/industrial projects.
