Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our platform. This role involves building and maintaining the system for financial data, providing accurate and timely information critical for success.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in architecting big data systems using technologies like Apache Spark and Hive. They should also be able to uplevel junior engineers via processes and set a high bar for them to follow.

  • Architect and develop platforms for financial data
  • Provide technical structure to teams and work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
  • Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise
  • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
  • Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of customers

What we look for in you:

  • Strong passion for building an open financial system that brings value to all
  • Experience working on integrating with APIs, developing financial tools, and transforming business/product data to accounting/financial domain
  • Knowledge of bank statements (API based, file based, SWIFT) and experience working with finance and accounting teams

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advance SQL
  • Experience working with fintech domain

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in architecting big data systems
