Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled data professional to join our team and take ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of our Oracle-based Data Warehouse. This role is essential in ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely movement and transformation of data across systems to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing stable, reliable, and effective database programs to meet user needs.
  • PL/SQL and SQL Tuning and Optimization of newly developed and existing applications.
  • Providing data analysis and validation.
  • Leveraging Oracle 10g/11g features on a large-scale system.
  • Identification of performance issues on production and testing systems.
  • Interacting with clients to understand requirements and explain issues.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of Oracle database architecture.
  • Advanced database development experience (Oracle SQL/PLSQL).
  • Knowledge of software development.
  • Strong SQL development, SQL analytics, and tuning skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Able to understand front-end users' requirements and have a problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong communications skills (both verbal & written).

Desirable Skills:

  • Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Database architecture, indexing, and performance tuning. Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools.

With 3-8 years of experience, you will be able to drive the success of our data warehouse and ensure that our data is accurate, efficient, and timely.
