Role Summary:

As the Head of Product Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals, and leading a team to deliver exceptional solutions. You will collaborate closely with the CTO to refine and execute the product strategy, translating the vision into a roadmap with clear objectives and key results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features and functionalities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional product team to deliver high-quality solutions while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Delivery and Execution: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment across teams, fostering a cohesive and efficient working environment.
  • Market Research and User-Centric Focus: Conduct market analysis, gather user feedback, and integrate insights into the product development process. Maintain a strong focus on user needs, ensuring our product exceeds customer expectations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Roll up your sleeves and get hands-on when necessary to support the team in overcoming challenges.

The Skills and Experience Required:

Must have skills:

  • Proven experience in a product leadership role within the tech industry, preferably in fintech and mutual funds space.
  • Candidates with prior experience in building and running large distributed teams will be preferred.
  • Strong track record of delivering complex software products with a hands-on approach when needed, showcasing exceptional delivery skills and commitment.
  • Deep understanding of engineering, product management methodologies, agile practices, and user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong experience on product documentation.
  • Outstanding leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward a common goal.
