About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, including system configuration and maintenance, software deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, device management, security and compliance, reporting, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain the IT environment to ensure it is up-to-date and optimized for performance, including installing updates, patches, and service packs, and performing regular system backups.
  • Software Deployment: Deploy software applications to devices within the organization, creating and testing deployment packages to ensure compatibility with different systems and meet user requirements.
  • Patch Management: Manage and deploy patches to keep systems secure and up-to-date, scheduling and monitoring patch installations, identifying vulnerabilities, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the process.
  • Operating System Deployment (OSD): Deploy Operating Systems to new devices or upgrade existing systems, creating and configuring task sequences to automate the installation process and ensure a quick transition for end-users.
  • Device Management: Monitor devices within the organization, ensuring they comply with security policies and configurations, tracking device inventory, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing technical support to end-users.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security policies, monitor system logs, and perform vulnerability assessments to protect the organization's data and infrastructure.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Generate reports and documentation to provide insights into system performance, software deployments, and compliance status, using IT tools to create customized reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of IT systems, collaborating with network administrators, security teams, and help desk staff to resolve issues and improve overall IT operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in IT administration, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of IT systems, software deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, device management, security, and compliance. Proficient in IT tools and technologies, such as SCCM, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving skills.
