Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, trial balances, and monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.">
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for management, highlighting financial performance and variances from budgets or forecasts.">
  • Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliations.">
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.">
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, identify discrepancies, and work with vendors to resolve issues.">
  • Monitor overdue accounts and assist in collection efforts where necessary.">
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.">
  • Evaluate financial data to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.">
  • Support tax compliance by preparing tax returns, sales tax, VAT, corporate tax, etc., and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.">
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.">
  • Contribute to the development of financial analysis and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial data and insights.">
  • Identify and analyze financial trends and variances to provide actionable recommendations to management.">
  • Implement internal controls to adhere to company financial policies, procedures, and best practices.">
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes and systems.">
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and accuracy in financial record-keeping.">

Requirements:
