Position Title Accountant Location LANJIGARH Reports To Site In charge Job Type Full-time Salary Range 15k to 20k Languages Hindi and Odia Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with1-2 years of experience to join our finance team The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting tasks ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting overall financial operations This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth in a dynamic and collaborative environment Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting o Prepare andmaintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries trial balances and monthly quarterly yearly financial statements o Assist in the preparation of reportsfor management highlighting financial performance and variances from budgets or forecasts o Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliations Accounts Payable Receivable o Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely processing of invoices payments and collections o Review and reconcile vendor statements identify discrepancies and work with vendors to resolve issues o Monitor overdue accounts and assist in collection efforts where necessary Month-End Year-End Closing o Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes including the preparation of journal entries accruals and adjustments o Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with accounting principles and company policies Tax Compliance o Support preparation oftax returns salestax VAT corporate tax etc and ensure compliance with local state and federal tax laws o Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors Financial Analysis Forecasting o Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial data and analysis o Identify and analyze financial trends and variances and provide actionable insights to management Internal Controls ProcessImprovement o Ensure adherence to company financial policies procedures and internal controls o Contribute to the continuousimprovement of accounting processes and systems Qualifications o Education o Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field o Professional certifications such as CPA CMA orsimilar are a plus Experience o 2 year of accounting experience preferably in a corporate environment o Experience with financial reporting reconciliation andmonth-end closing processes o Familiarity with accounting software e g Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel o Skills o Strong understanding of accounting principles and financialregulations o Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping o Excellent organizational and time-managementskills o Strong verbal and written communication skills o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment o Proficiency in MS Office Suite especially Excel pivot tables v-lookup etc Why Join Us Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunitiesfor professional development and career advancement Collaborative and inclusive work environment Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 10 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Work Location In person
