Job Title: Operational Finance Lead

This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of client services representatives and associates to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks related to record to report operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to interpret financial information to provide actionable insights and decision support. You will also be responsible for reviewing and approving monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage and coach a team of client services representatives and associates to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Financial Analysis: Review and approve monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Client Support: Prepare and review client financial statements, including month-over-month variance analysis and actual-to-budget analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance clients' monthly operations and suggest process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Credentials: CA or accounting graduate/postgraduate with minimum 12 years of record to report experience.
  • Skills: Good knowledge of accounting concepts and advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aptitudes: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and engagement requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and experience with automated accounting systems (i.e., Intacct, NetSuite, Blackline, Bill.com, Tally).
