Head of Pipe Manufacturing Operations

The Head of Pipe Manufacturing Operations is accountable for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of pipe manufacturing projects.

This role involves ensuring the effective planning, execution, and delivery of Steel / pipe manufacturing projects. The individual will oversee all aspects of project management within the pipe manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Lead the execution of pipe manufacturing projects, ensuring adherence to established plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets to ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
  • Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-control measures to maintain profitability.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives and timelines.
  • Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks.
  • Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards in pipe production.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 20+ years of experience in pipe manufacturing or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior project management position.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of pipe manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
