Application Packaging Specialist

This role involves handling customer application packaging requirements as a single point of contact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle customer application packaging requirements
  • Migrate applications from older to newer operating systems using various tools and technologies
  • Develop and maintain scripting skills in VB, WMI, Batch Scripting, and PowerShell
  • Design and implement application testing and remediation techniques for producing compatible applications
  • Expertise in creating and repackaging applications using Wise or Admin Studio
  • Familiarity with Windows Installer Technologies, including MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, and Standard Actions
  • Familiarity with Application Virtualization Technologies, such as App-V 4.6 and 5.0

You should have expertise in troubleshooting using various tools like FileMon, RegMon, and PictureTaker.

Requirements:
  • Proficient in Admin Studio/Install shield
  • Experience in VMware Workstation/Oracle Virtual Box
  • Sound knowledge of ACT 5.6 and PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit
