Job Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Visionary UX Specialist to contribute to shaping intuitive user experiences across our Edtech content platform. Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Content teams, you'll transform complex problems into elegant solutions empowering scientists, educators, and learners worldwide.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, translating them into seamless experiences. You will be responsible for designing accessible, user-centered interfaces aligning with our vision for delivering top-class research and education tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to understand user needs, translating them into seamless experiences.
  • Design interfaces that cater to diverse user groups, ensuring equal access to information and functionality.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs communicating design concepts and validating ideas.
  • Conduct user testing, gather feedback, refine designs for maximum impact.
  • Define and maintain design standards, guidelines, component libraries ensuring consistency across products.
  • Leverage data, usability findings, market trends to inform design decisions and enhance product usability.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation meeting quality expectations.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles, championing the customer voice at every stage.
  • Stay updated on design trends, tools, best practices to continually elevate our user experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of experience in UX design, preferably SaaS, EdTech or digital content platforms.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process, research, ideation, prototyping, delivery.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
  • Experience conducting or collaborating on user research, usability testing, data-driven design iterations.
  • Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, accessibility best practices.
  • Strong collaboration skills effectively communicating design decisions to technical, non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced agile environments balancing multiple projects with creativity, attention to detail.
