Lead Audit Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Audit Manager to join our team. This is a key role in which you will lead all aspects of audit engagements from planning to completion, including supervising staff and building relationships with clients.

The successful candidate will have experience auditing real estate, technology, and financial services clients, as well as excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including US GAAP familiarity.

About the Role

As a Lead Audit Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading engagement teams on planning and execution for audits, reviews, or compilations;
  • Overseeing daily operations, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, financial reporting, and conclusion;
  • Providing supervision and support to staff, seniors, and supervisors, promoting open communication;
  • Collaborating with partners on client issue resolution and providing recommendations for legal, regulatory, and accounting issues;
  • Managing multiple engagements concurrently, meeting client deadlines efficiently;
  • Creating and tracking engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies;
  • Conducting constructive evaluations and providing counsel accordingly;

You will also be required to build strong relationships with clients, ensuring that they receive exceptional service delivery throughout the engagement.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's; CPA preferred;
  • At least 5+ years of public accounting experience, leading multiple engagements and supervising staff;
  • Experience auditing real estate, technology, and financial services clients preferred;
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including US GAAP familiarity;
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with outstanding relationship-building abilities;
  • Ability to manage competing projects and strong leadership skills;
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills;
