DCS Systems Engineer

This role involves the design, development, and implementation of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for various industrial processes, including thermal power plants, combined cycle power plants, and captive power plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting inputs from customers, conducting site visits, and designing control systems that meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong background in DCS engineering and control system design. They should also have experience with process simulation, testing, and validation of control systems.

Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing DCS systems for industrial processes
- Conducting site visits to understand customer requirements
- Collaborating with vendors and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to DCS systems
- Providing training and support to end-users on DCS system operation and maintenance

Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in DCS engineering and control system design
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of DCS systems and their applications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders

Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with DCS programming languages such as Ladder Logic or Function Block Diagrams
- Familiarity with industry-standard DCS platforms such as ABB, Siemens, or GE
- Knowledge of process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS or Simulink
- Certification in DCS engineering or control system design
