Hardware Engineer Opportunity

The role of a hardware engineer involves the design, development, and testing of electronic systems. We are seeking a skilled hardware engineer to join our team.

  • Designing and developing hardware systems, including circuit boards, sensors, actuators, and communication modules.
  • Prototyping: Building and testing prototypes to validate the functionality and performance of hardware designs.
  • Component Selection: Must have thorough understanding on the selection criteria & key specifications of all appropriate electronic components and should be able to independently select based on the design requirements.
  • PCB Design: Knowledge on printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, considering factors like size, power consumption, signal integrity, and manufacturability.
  • System Integration: Integrating hardware components with software systems and ensuring seamless communication and data transfer.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conducting tests and troubleshooting hardware issues to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with specifications. Also must have handled test equipments like AC/DC Power sources, electronic loads, temperature probes, Oscilloscopes etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative solutions for complex hardware problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware components with software systems.
  • Test and debug hardware designs to ensure quality and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design.
  • Experience with microcontroller programming and interfacing with various sensors and actuators.
  • Familiarity with wireless protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Ethernet / LAN connectivity.
  • Understanding of different types of sensors and actuators commonly used in IoT applications.
  • Knowledge of low/medium power Switch Mode Power Supplies- SMPS- AC/DC and DC/DC converters design and testing procedures, battery management, and energy-efficient hardware design techniques.
  • Proficiency in using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and soldering equipment for hardware testing and debugging.
