Hardware Product Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Hardware Product Manager to lead the development and launch of our hardware product lines. This role focuses on ideation, development, testing, and lifecycle management of our products, excluding SaaS or IoT.

  • Identify and evaluate new hardware product opportunities aligned with market trends and company sustainability goals.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer feedback collection to guide product priorities.
  • Translate concepts into product requirements and clear business cases.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales teams to bring innovative, market-ready hardware solutions to life. Your key responsibilities include:

Product Ideation & Strategy
  • Owning and managing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), technical specifications, and feature roadmaps.
  • Partnering with R&D and engineering on design, prototyping, and functional testing.
  • Overseeing compliance, certifications, and industry standards.
Product Development & Testing
  • Ensuring robust quality assurance and performance benchmarks before release.
  • Documenting technical specification sheets, installation manuals, and support materials.
  • Ensuring all product documentation is accurate, user-friendly, and compliant with regulations.
Lifecycle Management
  • Maintaining product performance, customer feedback, and profitability post-launch.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing product versioning updates.
  • Leading product end-of-life (EOL) strategy, ensuring smooth transition or replacement.
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of hardware product development and launch processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to analyze complex data and drive business decisions.
