The Reconciliation Senior Associate independently solves complex problems. The individual integrates in-depth recon area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, post, and reconcile payments received by Revenue Team, including daily and weekly reconciliation.
  • Monitors and manages incoming payments.
  • Retrieves and posts remittances from applicable payor websites when the remittance is not available from clearinghouse.
  • Reviews remittances for applicable adjustments, and transfers balance to secondary or patient responsibility when appropriate.
  • Researches and corrects keying errors as needed.
  • Documenting root cause and discrepancies, generating reports based on department protocols.

Requirements:

  • Relevant accounting degree with 3-7 years of experience.
  • Good Knowledge on technical accounting.
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet applications and software applications and advanced financial statement preparation skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong mathematical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to report at required levels (Headline, Summary, Detail).

Skills:

  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Teams.
  • High level of competency with Reconciliation.
