Trust Lawyer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced trust professional to manage a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including deeds, resolutions, and agreements.
  • Conduct regular reviews of each entity in the portfolio, liaising with clients, trustees, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on structuring trusts and commercial entities, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to our company's 4-Pillar approach, focusing on compliance, legal and corporate services, transaction monitoring, and tax and transparency.
  • Meet financial targets, handle pricing, invoicing, and collection of fees.
  • Anticipate and manage the impact of emerging regulatory, taxation, or legal changes, ensuring compliance-related risk is addressed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree and professional trust-related qualifications.
  • STEP qualification in trust and tax an advantage.
  • At least 10 years of experience working with trust/estate law, ideally in a similar industry.
  • Strong commercial mindset, positive, proactive, dedicated, focused, and revenue-driven.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with well-developed spoken and written communication skills.
  • Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
