Supply Chain Operations Manager

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the management of suppliers and optimize their performance. This involves defining key metrics, monitoring supplier progress, and ensuring continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain management principles and have experience in developing and implementing effective strategies to drive business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, managing global suppliers for direct and indirect materials and services
• Strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supplier performance metrics and monitor progress
- Evaluate quality, set performance benchmarks, and assess risks associated with supplier selection
- Represent supplier business management on cross-functional commodity teams
- Develop presentations, white papers, and process flow charts to support continuous process improvement projects
