Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary for this role, estimated to be around ₹30-45 lakhs per annum, based on industry standards and location in Bangalore.

Job Description

This challenging role involves designing and implementing high-performance, scalable data solutions for large enterprise-wide data mining and processing. Our ideal candidate will collaborate with teams of experienced actuaries, developers, and business experts to deliver projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and propose end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion to storage to consumption) for data projects as well as databases to support web-based applications.
  • Design and implement data warehouses and data marts to serve data consumers.
  • Execute implementation of the designs and bring it from design stages to implementation followed by operationalization to maintenance.
  • Database design and modelling to organize data at both macro and micro levels and provide logical data models for consumers.
  • Database performance tuning and data lifecycle management.
  • Assist in support and enhancements of existing data pipelines and databases.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience working with relational database systems (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Extensive knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, including design and implementation via SSIS or other ELT/ETL tools.
  • 1+ years of experience working with data warehouses and knowledge of data warehouse modelling techniques.
  • Good experience building data pipelines that ingest various types of data sources into a database or data lake and populate a structured warehouse or data mart.
  • Fluency in complex SQL query performance tuning and database performance tuning.
  • Experience building and designing data warehouses/data marts.
  • Understanding of the importance of performance and ability to implement best practices in ensuring performance and maintainability for data-centric projects.
