The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data technologies such as HDFS, Spark, Snowflake, Hive, HBase, Scylla, Django, FastAPI, and experience with distributed data processing at scale. They will also have expertise in designing and architecting distributed low-latency and scalable solutions in cloud and on-premises environments.

About the Role
  • Design, build, refine, tune, and maintain real-time and batch data infrastructure
  • Maintain data quality and accuracy across production data systems
  • Work with Data Engineers to optimize data models and workflows
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts to develop ETL processes for analysis and reporting
  • Work with Product Managers to design and build data products
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to scale and optimize data infrastructure
About You
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • Proven long-term experience and enthusiasm for distributed data processing at scale
  • Expertise in designing and architecting distributed low-latency and scalable solutions
  • Fluency in Python or solid experience in Scala, Java
  • Proficient with relational databases and Advanced SQL
  • Expert in usage of services like Spark, HDFS, Hive, HBase
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is $175,000 - $225,000, depending on location and experience.
