Database Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our database development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable database architectures.

You will collaborate closely with our technical teams to optimize storage, retrieval, and analytics pipelines. Your expertise in database optimization, indexing, and partitioning will ensure the performance and reliability of our databases.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQL. Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Cassandra, is also highly desirable. Knowledge of vector databases, ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling is a plus.

  • Design and implement scalable database architectures (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Optimize database queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is a plus.
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
  • Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Knowledge of streaming data systems (Kafka, Spark).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML data pipelines.
  • Exposure to DevOps for databases (Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD for DB).
