Technical Consultant Opportunity

About the Role:

This is a high-profile technical consultant position within our company, requiring an expert in Oracle EBS development to drive key projects forward.

You will lead the design, development, and support of robust technical solutions within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment, leveraging your expertise to customize, integrate, and optimize EBS applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Custom Development & Enhancement: Design, develop, and customize Oracle EBS components using SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, and OAF (Oracle Application Framework).
  • Integration Development: Develop and implement complex integrations between Oracle EBS and other internal or external systems using various integration methods (APIs, web services, custom interfaces).
  • Data Migration & Conversion: Perform data conversions, migrations, and interfaces, ensuring data accuracy and integrity during system implementations or upgrades.
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Support: Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyze root causes, and provide timely and effective resolutions for production support and ongoing maintenance.
  • Technical Design & Documentation: Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and design documents.
  • Maintain Comprehensive Technical Documentation: For all developed solutions.
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization: Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for performance tuning and optimization of EBS applications.
  • Patching & Upgrades: Assist with the application of Oracle patches, hotfixes, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong Technical Expertise: In Oracle EBS development (R12 preferred), with hands-on experience across multiple modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HCM).
  • Proficiency in: SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow.
  • Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF): Development is a significant advantage.
  • Solid Understanding: Of Oracle EBS architecture, underlying database schemas, and data models.
  • Proven Ability: To analyze and resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
  • Experience with Version Control Systems and Development Methodologies:
  • Excellent Analytical, Debugging, and Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Master's Degree: (e.g., M.Tech, MS in CS) is highly preferred.
