Job Title: Functional Consultant

This role involves collaboration with finance teams to comprehend, document, and analyze current financial processes. It also includes designing and configuring Oracle EBS Financial modules to meet business needs.

  • Partner with finance teams to thoroughly understand, document, and analyze current financial processes and future requirements.
  • Develop and implement configurations for Oracle EBS Financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Cost Management, etc.) that align with best practices.
  • Design comprehensive test plans and execute functional and integration testing to ensure solutions are robust and meet business specifications.
  • Provide in-depth training and create clear documentation for end-users.
  • Offer post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for custom solution development, data migrations, system integrations, and reporting requirements.
  • Create detailed documentation for configurations, business processes, and user guides.
  • Identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with Oracle EBS Financials, demonstrating knowledge across multiple core modules.
  • Proven ability to lead or participate in full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations or enhancement projects.
  • In-depth understanding of finance business processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, capable of dissecting complex financial challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
