Data Platform Strategist Role:

Job Description

  • Design and deliver enterprise data and analytics solutions as a seasoned professional.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to develop architectures, oversee implementations, and ensure seamless data flow across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop conceptual, logical, and physical solution architectures for data platforms, data products, analytics, and AI/ML projects.
  2. Lead projects through the entire solution lifecycle, from requirements and design to build, testing, and deployment.
  3. Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring interoperability and efficient data exchange.
  4. Define solution-level security, access controls, and compliance requirements in partnership with data governance and security teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with large-scale implementations, cloud-native and hybrid data solutions, integration of SAP and non-SAP data sources, and programming languages such as Python, SQL, PySpark, Spark, Scala.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Databricks, AWS, or Solution Architecture are preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP, S/4HANA, DataSphere, ABAP, and CDS views.
