Job Opportunity for Experienced VFX Professional

We are seeking an experienced Visual Effects professional to join our team as a mentor and director of artists in the field of Visual Effects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Hollywood film productions and expertise in Houdini Software Training, particularly in RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation, and Plant Instance Simulation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide training in Houdini Software for Film and Advertising purposes from basic to advanced levels.
  • Teach skills required for creating convincing results for clients.
  • Integrate Houdini with Autodesk Maya and Blender or vice versa.
  • Enhance the individual skills of in-house VFX Artists through teaching and mentoring.
  • Share experience as a VFX Artist in global cinema.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor for film, animation, or TV series is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Houdini is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of compositing principles (Nuke preferred) is necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of the Blender workflow is beneficial.
  • A portfolio demonstrating excellent skills and creative approach is required.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills are essential.
  • Artistic skills with a high attention to detail are necessary.
  • Enthusiasm and creativity are highly valued.

Work Environment:

  • Part-time: approximately 5-10 hours/week.
  • Remote work only.
  • Paid hourly/weekly (flexible).
