Quality Assurance and Control Specialist

Azista-BST Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Control Specialist to ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of space-grade components and systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards for design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing phases of spacecraft & subsystems.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements are embedded.
  • Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams.
  • Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation.
  • Support risk management and failure mode analysis.
  • Quality Control (QC):
  • Perform inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products.
  • Monitor and verify compliance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), Product Information Documents (PID), and Design Technical Records (DTRs).
  • Coordinate environmental testing and review results.
  • Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain calibration and certification records of test equipment.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools, test benches, and environmental chambers.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with satellite subsystems.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical quality control.
  • Certification/Knowledge in Six Sigma, AS9100, or ISO 9001 is a plus.
