Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our deliverables.
  • The specialist will oversee complete QA responsibility as defined by the QA manager to guarantee that our deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
  • Reviewing content in non-English languages is comfortable for this role.

 

Job Duties:
  • Plan, execute, and perform inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing deliverables to confirm quality conformance to specifications.
  • Identify and suggest solutions to deliverable problems.
  • Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels to meet goals/KPIs.
  • Analyze and investigate reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and customer requirements.
  • Investigate product quality to make improvements and achieve better customer satisfaction. Collaborate with production teams to achieve results.
  • Develop or update inspection procedures to stay current and ensure proper documentation and tracking of issues.
  • Monitor risk-management procedures and maintain problem logs to identify recurring issues and report them to management.
  • Interpret and comply with company quality assurance standards.
  • Collect quality data through careful maintenance of records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions.
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
  • Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.
  • Oversee continuous improvement projects to develop new standards for production and design, creating testing protocols for implementation across all services offered to customers.
  • Pursue continuing learning/exploration on new solutions, technology, and skills.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in the promotions content/e-learning/publishing house content domain or any related field (print media experience is a positive factor).
  • Comfortable reviewing content in non-English languages such as Asian and European languages.
  • Superb computer competence, including MS Office.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices, and defect management practice.
  • A sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the company's success.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver.
  • Team player.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it.
  • Professional certification in Quality Assurance.
  • Knowledge of Content Quality Assurance Automation.
