Job Title: Data Recovery Specialist

This is a highly sought-after role in the industry where you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and recoverability of data across various platforms.

  • Familiarity with Veeam Backup and Replication v9.5/10/11/12 is essential, as well as experience with cloud storage like AWS S3 Buckets and Azure Blob Storage.
  • You must have excellent knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V, as well as HPE/IBM/Dell Tape libraries devices.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Windows, Linux (RHEL, CENT OS) is required, along with the ability to identify hardware issues and coordinate with OEMs.
  • Effective communication skills are crucial, including verbal and written communication, and the ability to write technical RCAs and change control documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor day-to-day schedule job activities and ensure 100% compliance of backup jobs.
  • Identify and troubleshoot missed and failed Veeam backup jobs and resolve failures promptly.
  • Setup and configure Veeam Agent for Windows and administer backup daily to ensure successful and consistent backups.
  • Experience in configuring Veeam One and Veeam Enterprise Manager Job reports and Monitoring tool is necessary.
  • Provide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis and escalate issues as needed.
