Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

At Tequity Consulting Pvt. Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to play a key role in our team. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with development teams and product managers to test software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and provide timely and meaningful feedback on requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure 95% of bugs are caught before reaching clients within the first 6 months.
  • Lead and train at least 3 QA engineers within the first 6 months.
  • Enhance testing productivity by 50% within the first 6 months using LLMs (gen-AI) to set up testing pipelines.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software QA engineer.
  • Proven leadership experience with multiple teams and large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with white box, black box testing, and automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes.
