Job Title: Civil Lab Incharge - Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Lab Incharge to oversee the quality control of bitumen and road materials in our laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with testing standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the operations of the civil lab, focusing on quality control for bitumen and road materials.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and regulations, and maintain accurate records of test results.
• Monitor and evaluate lab equipment and materials, and make recommendations for improvements or replacements.
• Supervise and guide junior lab technicians in conducting tests and analyses.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate testing of materials.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in bitumen and road materials testing methods.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in bitumen and road materials testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing standards and regulations for bitumen and road materials.
• Experience in operating and maintaining lab equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and guide junior technicians.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in test procedures and result documentation.
