Job Description

This role will involve collaborating with the manufacturing department to ensure product quality by maintaining, improving and optimizing production processes. The goal is to reduce costs per product by implementing advanced technological solutions.

The position requires:

  • Maintaining process documentation, including PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP/WI for each process step
  • Auditing SOPs to identify changes resulting from engineering modifications
  • Participating in CFTs for ISO and IATF system implementation
  • Calibrating Jigs and Fixtures periodically
  • Inspecting special characteristics from third-party labs
  • Monthly audits of sub-contractors
  • Daily monitoring of process non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
  • Closing coordination with production leads, technicians and quality leads
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Diploma in Engineering (Mech, Auto, Prod) with 10-12 years of experience
  • A Degree in Engineering (Mech, Prod, Auto) with minimum 8-10 years of experience
  • 6 Sigma, TPM, Lean Certification as an added advantage
  • Relevant experience in Process Engineering/Industrial Engineering in Automotive OEM, Tier I supplier or Engineering industry
  • Experience in mass production or large batch serial production environment
  • Handled at least one New Product Development project
  • Worked in ISO 9000 or IATF or Deming environment
