Functional Tester for REST API


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Functional Tester to join our team in the development and testing of REST APIs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in writing DB queries, preferably for MS SQL Server, and validating SOAP and REST based services. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team are essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to work in an Agile environment, utilizing tools such as ALM or any other Test Management Tool. Business knowledge in the Telecom domain would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing test plans to ensure high-quality REST API functionality
  • Validating database interactions and API endpoints
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in functional testing, specifically with REST APIs and DB queries is mandatory. The following skills are required:

  • Functional Testing expertise
  • Rest API testing experience
  • DB Querying skills (MS SQL Server preferred)
  • Test Management tool proficiency (ALM or similar)
