Role: Functional Tester Job Location: Hyderabad/Pune Experience: 4+ years Work Mode: Hybrid **Responsibilities**: - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for RESTful and SOAP APIs. - Use API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar to perform functional and integration tests. - Verify API responses, ensure proper data handling, and validate error codes and messages. - Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on functional specifications and requirements. - Perform thorough functional, regression, and integration testing. - Document and track defects, and work collaboratively with development teams to resolve issues. - Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar. - Support the integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. - Help enhance the automation framework and expand test coverage as needed. - Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective testing solutions. - Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics. - Participate in review meetings to discuss test results and contribute to process improvements. **Requirements**: **Required Qualifications**: - 4+ years of experience in functional testing with a strong focus on API testing and automation. - Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI). - Experience with manual testing techniques and tools. - knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is preferred. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Benefits**: - Company standard Benefits.
