Job Title:

Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, encompassing EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement enhancements to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement robust security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Manage company SaaS platforms to enhance user productivity, focusing on tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members.
  • Stay current with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to our infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
