Warehouse Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, compliance, and safety standards.

This role requires strong expertise in end-to-end warehouse operations management, customer handling, and solution design. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Regional Leadership: Overseeing warehouse operations and managing the operations team to deliver high performance and service excellence.
  • P&L Management: Full ownership of warehouse P&L including budgeting, cost control, productivity, and profitability.
  • Operational Excellence: Driving efficiency in inbound, storage, inventory management, order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
  • Solutioning & Process Improvement: Designing and implementing customized operational solutions for customers, optimizing layouts, manpower planning, and material handling systems.
  • Customer Management: Building strong relationships with key customers; ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
  • Team Management: Leading, training, and motivating the operations team.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, health & safety standards, and internal audit guidelines.
  • Technology & Automation: Implementing WMS and other digital solutions to drive efficiency and visibility in operations.

Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of experience in warehouse operations & logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in P&L management, operations design, and customer solutioning.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehousing processes, local compliances, and labor regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of handling large-scale warehouses / multi-client facilities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
