Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Operations Leader to oversee tax reporting for annuity products and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 15–20 associates in a regulated environment.
  • Oversee tax reporting for annuity transactions, including premiums, payouts, interest, and other relevant data.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations, such as 1099-R filings.
  • Manage the tax treatment of death benefits and beneficiary payouts.
  • Drive process improvements and support audits to maintain high standards.

Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of experience in tax reporting or financial operations, preferably in the insurance or annuity industry.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and laws.
  • Proven leadership skills in a regulated environment, with a focus on driving results and improving processes.
  • CPA certification is preferred, with proficiency in Excel and tax systems.
