Job Title: Senior Fire Protection Systems Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Engineer to join our team at Vashishta Systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems, sprinkler systems, and fire alarm systems, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects.

They should have excellent exposure to all aspects of fire fighting systems and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel.

The successful candidate will have experience managing task-oriented groups, developed planning skills, and the ability to work within stringent financial, quality, and time-bound targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage task-oriented groups
  • Develop and implement project plans
  • Coordinate and administer Fire Fighting-related materials, systems, and shop drawings submittals
  • Ensure that all plans meet regulatory requirements
  • Validate design issues related to Fire Fighting and suggest alternative solutions
  • Facilitate problem-solving among subcontractors, clients, vendors, etc.
  • Direct, monitor, and control the activities of subcontractors
  • Supervise contractors, laborers, and vendors to ensure work follows specifications and meets deadlines
  • Inspect work sites for code compliance and safety hazards
  • Witness and review contractor testing and commissioning results
  • Comment on contractor testing and commissioning results and advise management accordingly

Requirements:

  • BE/B. Tech Mechanical with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fire protection systems
  • Excellent exposure to all aspects of fire fighting systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Experience managing task-oriented groups
  • Well-developed planning skills
  • Ability to work within stringent financial, quality, and time-bound targets
  • Result-oriented
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
