We are seeking a talented Textile Designer to create innovative fabric manipulation techniques, embroidery designs, including patterns, prints, weaves, and textures. This role combines artistic skills with technical knowledge to design digital patterns for fabrics and garments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design Development
  • Create original fabric manipulation techniques, embroidery designs, including patterns, prints, weaves, and innovative materials.
  • Develop color palettes and experiment with dyeing techniques, laser processing, and material mixing.
  • Research fashion, textile, and consumer trends.
  1. Material Selection
  • Select suitable fabrics and materials based on design requirements and functionality.
  • Sourcing sustainable or innovative materials when needed.
  1. Technical Skills
  • Utilize design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or CAD to create digital designs.
  • Understand textile production processes, including weaving, knitting, printing, and dyeing.
  • Produce technical specifications for manufacturers.
  1. Collaboration
  • Work closely with fashion designers, product developers, and manufacturers to align designs with the overall vision.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand target audiences and market trends.
  1. Prototyping and Sampling
  • Develop prototypes and samples to test designs.
  • Make adjustments based on feedback and production feasibility.
  1. Quality Control
  • Evaluate final textiles for quality standards and design specifications.
  • Address any production issues.
  1. Sustainability and Innovation
  • Explore eco-friendly materials and sustainable production methods.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and innovations in textile design.
