Textile Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Textile Design Specialist to create innovative and commercial designs for our bedding and home furnishings products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print design, specifically in bedsheet design, and familiarity with soft and hard furnishings. They will also possess excellent knowledge of the retail landscape and consumer preferences.

  • Develop creative and trend-forward print designs for bedsheets and other home furnishing categories.
  • Translate global and domestic trends into commercial designs suited for the retail market.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams to align design output with product planning and timelines.
  • Coordinate with production and vendors to ensure quality and accuracy in sampling and final output.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to drive innovation in design.
  • Prepare mood boards, color palettes, CADs, and print repeats for presentations and approvals.
  • Contribute to seasonal collection planning and visual merchandising inputs.

Key Requirements:

  • 1.5 – 2 years of experience in textile/print design, preferably in an export house.
  • Expertise in bedsheet design and familiarity with both soft and hard furnishings.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
  • Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail, color, and composition.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Degree in Textile/Fashion Design from a reputable design institution (preferred).
