About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Technology department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing sustainable growth strategies that align with our operational risk frameworks.

With your expertise in technical risk management, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and mitigate risks, ensuring the integrity and security of our systems and operations.

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential threats and maximize opportunities.
  • Analyze and assess risk profiles across various product and technology teams, identifying areas for improvement and recommending control measures.
  • Design and implement effective controls to mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including the Board and executive committees.
  • Drive the implementation and communication of operational risk management policies and guidelines, ensuring seamless adoption across the organization.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in business risk management, preferably in a similar field.
  • Proven knowledge of IT infrastructure, operations, software, hardware, data flows, and change control.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies, as well as product delivery tools and technologies.
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, adapting your message to suit diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define risk appetite, impact, and likelihood.
  • A track record of quickly assuming responsibilities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

  • Data analysis and SQL skills.
  • Experience with SOX controls.
